Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
Dr. Mary Snyder performs cosmetic and reconstructive surgery for a patient base spanning from the Midwest to the Rockies. Practicing in Rapid City SD and Scottsbluff, NE, Dr. Snyder is a highly trained and qualified plastic surgeon whose professional interests include breast reconstruction, breast enhancement, body contouring, and facial reconstruction. She is dedicated to providing a personal approach and treatment plan for the women and men who visit her from areas near and far, including Wyoming, Montana, Nebraska, and South Dakota.
Dr. Snyder is board-certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. She has served as assistant professor in plastic surgery and otolaryngology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Snyder currently serves as co-chair of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons’ Head and Neck Surgery Curriculum Development Committee, and she has served as a member of the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation In-Service Exam Committee. She is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the Black Hills Medical Society and the South Dakota State Medical Association. Eduplast Foundation – Dr. Snyder is an active member of the Eduplast Foundation, which strives to provide reconstructive plastic surgery to at-need populations in underserved countries. She has made numerous mission trips to Nicaragua to provide reconstruction to children and adults with clefts and other congenital anomalies, as well as burns and injuries. Eduplast also seeks to establish training programs in plastic and reconstructive surgery so that care can continue long after the mission teams have gone home.
