As always, BHSH is committed to protecting our patients and staff. In addition to the screening procedures outlined below, and in accordance with CDC guidelines, we are requiring that our staff wear masks in commonly shared work areas and when in the presence of other individuals. We are also requiring that all patients wear masks during the duration of their stay. If you are able to bring your own mask, it would be greatly appreciated. Masks should be functional, clean, and free of holes and tears. If you do not have a mask, we are happy to provide one for you. We also ask that everyone practice social distancing to the extent that is practical.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but at this time, until further notice, visitor restrictions remain in place and we are unable to allow visitors.
SCREENING PRIOR TO ENTERING:
Prior to being allowed into our facilities, screening of all individuals will be conducted at the main entrances of Black Hills Surgical Hospital and Black Hills Imaging Center. This includes patients, staff, contractors and vendors. Screening includes checking for fever and other symptoms, as well as inquiring about travel history.
VISITOR RESTRICTIONS: Until further notice, no visitors will be allowed.
If you are scheduled for a procedure, scan or surgery and are experiencing any of the following symptoms or scenarios, please contact your physician’s office to reschedule:
* Shortness of Breath
* Muscle Aches
* Exposure to someone experiencing the above symptoms
* Recently traveled
IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING ANY OF THE ABOVE SYMPTOMS OR SCENARIOS, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR PHYSICIAN’S OFFICE TO RESCHEDULE. IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE, PLEASE CALL (605) 721-4700.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we strive to ensure the safety and welfare of our patients, visitors and staff. If you would like to donate handmade masks, you may do so by dropping them off with our front-door screeners.
