Troy Howard, MD

Otolaryngology

Dr. Howard, is a board certified Ear, Nose and Throat specialist. He holds a particular interest in pediatric ENT, adult sinus disease, functional nasal surgery, and thyroid surgery.

He and his wife Rachel were both raised in the Black Hills. The Howards are grateful to be able to return to the Black Hills to raise their family and serve this community they love so much. They are parents of five children. When Dr. Howard isn’t working, you will find him camping with his family or golfing with the kids.

Academic Information

Dr. Howard earned his medical degree at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine. He then completed his 5 year specialty training at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. During this period, he was selected by his peers as Chief Administrative Resident. He was awarded the prestigious Citizenship Award by the Medical Director in 2015 for his leadership service in this role.
